Cookies and local storage
H1 Lingo does not use cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics. It saves your progress, and keeps you signed in if you have an account, using your browser's local storage.
1. What we store on your device

We set no cookies of our own.
2. Why we do not ask for cookie consent
Storing information on your device normally needs your consent, except where it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for (Irish ePrivacy rules, S.I. No. 336 of 2011). Saving your progress and keeping you signed in are strictly necessary for the study service you asked for, so no consent banner is needed. We still tell you about it here.
3. Third parties
- Our website and the web version of the app (h1lingo.com) use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it needs no consent banner.
- The claude.ai version is hosted by Anthropic. The platform may use its own cookies or similar technologies, for example for security or sign-in. We do not control these. See Anthropic's cookie policy.
- Past papers open on examinations.ie, the State Examinations Commission's own website, which has its own cookie policy.
- The app does not load fonts, scripts or trackers from Google or any advertising company.
4. How to delete or control it
- In the app: Me, then Privacy and data, then Delete my data on this device. If you have an account, use Delete my account to remove your account data too.
- Signing out removes your sign-in session from this browser.
- In your browser: clear this site's data or local storage in your settings.
If you delete what's on your device without an account, your progress is gone and we cannot restore it.
